Meno vs WedTexts: what's actually different
Two one-time, priced-by-guest wedding texting tools. Pricing is nearly identical, which is either reassuring or slightly annoying depending on how long you've spent comparing tabs. The real decision is RSVPs and scheduling.
| Meno | WedTexts | |
|---|---|---|
| Free tier | Demo account | Up to 15 guests |
| ~100 guests | $139 | $140 |
| Large weddings | $299 (200+) | $300 (unlimited) |
| RSVP by reply | Yes, auto-reminders | Reminder-focused |
| Date-anchored timeline | Yes | Manual scheduling |
The real difference: RSVPs
With Meno, the RSVP is the text. Guests reply, their answer lands next to their name, and non-responders get automatic reminders. No export. No Tuesday spreadsheet ritual.
WedTexts is built mainly to broadcast reminders and nudge guests toward whatever RSVP method you already use. The answers usually live elsewhere. Fine if that workflow already works for you. A bit knackered if it doesn't.
Who each is for
- Choose Meno if you want RSVPs collected by reply, a timeline that builds around your date, and per-guest conversations you can share with a planner.
- Choose WedTexts if you mainly broadcast reminders, want a free tier for a tiny guest list, or already know and trust it.
